Zathe De Spieker is a beautiful Frisian farmhouse from 1890 of the type ‘head-neck-trunk’. In this renovated former dairy farm is the Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The private entrance leads to the spacious hall with access to three luxurious, spacious guest rooms (22/40 m2)  on the ground floor, each with a private bathroom ensuite. The bathrooms have a shower, sink and toilet with toiletries, (bath)towels, bath- and shower mat. One of the rooms has a walk-in shower and is suitable for disabled. All guest rooms have free fast WiFi fiberglass, flatscreen TV, DVD, radio alarm clock, kettle with tea and soup, Senseo with pads and fridge (0dB). From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the meadows and the beautiful garden.

In the cozy breakfast room an extensive and delicious fresh breakfast is served in the morning. Breakfast in your own room is also possible. In the breakfast room you can also stay in the afternoon and in the evening. In the adjacent guest kitchen you have access to a microwave, crockery and cutlery. You can prepare a simple meal and also your own filter coffee or tea. For your car is a parking space in our yard, for your motorcycle or bicycle  is a covered parking in the coach house. The accommodation is suitable for recreational and business stay.

  • If you arrive by car, your navigation may indicate that you have reached your destination 200 meters after our farm. You can recognize our farmhouse at the two white poles and sign at the entrance.
  • If you come by public transport, then take the train (route Leeuwarden-Stavoren) and get off at railway station Sneek. Take at the station the bus (bus Sneek – Wommels) and get off in Itens at the Reformed Church. Bed and Breakfast Zathe The Spieker ia direction Oosterend / Easterein just outside Itens situated at a distance of 300 meters from the bus stop.
